Play as a little virion and eat other SMALLER virions to survive! Eating a heart will give you an extra life but dont get too greedy as it also decreases your size. Trying to eat a larger virion than yourself will end badly as you lose one of your precious lives.

Meet the viruses!

Porcine Circuvirus One of the smallest independent viruses as it has one of the simplest structures, consisting of only 2 proteins! One of which it uses to build its capsid while the other is in charge of replication. PCV is spread among pigs (thus why i made the design a piglet) and is relatively harmless. Though PCV-2 can cause porcine circuvirus associated disease which is extremely dangerous among piglets.
Papillomavirus Though usually in humans papillomavirus causes warts, it is considered the root of the jackalope myth! In rabbits, it produces weird horn like structures.
Rabies Rabies is one of my personal favorite viruses in its behavior! I am bad at explaining stuff so id recommend you read about it from a professional source rather than a random 15 year olds itch.io page!
Mycoplasma genitalium A bacteria?? in a game about viruses?? How could this be!! Mycoplasma is one of the smallest bacteria, it infects the mucous membranes of the urogenital tract in men and women.
Mimivirus Mimivirus is one of the largest viruses, classified as a giant virus. Though viruses are often classified as not alive, giant viruses are just on the edge of life. They dwarf the smaller bacteria and their structure is extremely complex!
